Thank you to the New York Real Estate Journal for covering our work with Hartz Mountain. We’re proud to support projects that continue to shape and strengthen the commercial and industrial real estate landscape in New York.
Brown Altman secures site plan approval for Hartz Mountain project
According to Brown Altman, LLP, Keith Brown, founding partner of Brown Altman, LLP, and partner Matthew Ingber secured site plan approval for Hartz Mountain from the Town of Huntington Planning Board for the construction of two, one-story warehouse distribution centers (138,005 s/f and 219,125 s/f) and associated site work on Spagnoli Rd. The property was previously owned by National Grid as a site used for ditch and trench digging training.
The proposed application was received by the Huntington Planning Department on December 4, 2023 and 12 months later, the planning board conditionally approved the site plan for this project, inclusive of a 3.38-acre conservation area. Brown Altman, LLP provided an updated conservation area acreage calculation, to remove the portion of land which is now associated with a National Grid lease, and the updated calculation of 2.72 acres is still in conformance with town code requirements.
“It is a privilege to advance this application on behalf of Hartz Mountain and want to thank the town of Huntington Planning Department for their assistance with this difficult project,” said Matthew Ingber, partner at Brown Altman, LLP. “These approvals reflect our firm’s knowledge in local planning and zoning matters for large commercial and industrial development projects.”
