The Long Island Food Council hosted an educational panel discussion from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 29th at the Hotel Indigo – East End, Riverhead. This educational panel featured guest speaker Chairman, Vincent Bradley, of the New York State Liquor Authority. Panelists from the State Liquor Authority. Additionally, the LIFC hosted two panel discussions the first from the New York State Liquor Authority. The panelists answered questions, spoke of previous experiences to further educate business professionals in the industry. The next panel of local business owners and professionals from the east end discussed the industry from the producers standpoint. With years of working with the New York State Liquor Authority these professionals are able to give their insight into running a liquor related business.
Educational events for members and non-members of the LIFC cover topics beneficial to growing businesses and grant access to knowledge of the industry. Panelists address industry issues, share resources and vital information to help shape economic growth in the food, beverage and hospitality industries of the Long Island region. Attendees have the opportunity to speak with panelists, ask questions, and network with business professionals in the industry. With over 100 attendees the LIFC educational series continue to grow and advise other professionals on Long Island.
