  • Served as General Counsel for international, New York City based, advertising and brand development agency serving the sports, entertainment, higher education and collegiate athletics industries, which included NASCAR Media Group, New York Yankees, Miami Marlins, MLS, MSG, NHL, NFL, Kentucky Derby, UFC, HSBC Bank, LPGA, University of Pennsylvania, University of Louisville, West Virginia University, University of San Fransisco, Boston College, Manhattan College, CUNY and others.
  • Successfully represented small, closely held corporation in a rigorous complex contract dispute against a multibillion- dollar agricultural cooperative securing a significant victory after a jury trial.
  • Assisted U.S. Bankruptcy Trustee in administering debtors’ property during bankruptcy process, including: litigating adversary proceedings, identifying debtor fraud and abuse, pursuing fraudulent conveyances and overseeing liquidation of assets.
  • Represented, advised and collaborated with company executives in a multitude of industries, including: publishing, marketing, hospitality, construction, real estate, cosmetics, gymnastics, construction, plumbing supply, fine art, glass blowing and auto collision and repair, regarding all legal matters concerning business operations and relationships.
  • Instrumental in helping advance the interests of local startup companies with patents in Hydrogen Technology thereby creating opportunities that leveraged academia to offer new pathways in the Advanced Energy Research Technology Center (AERTC) at Stony Brook University.

Matthew represents national fast food chains, gasoline station retailers and alternative energy companies in all matters involving land use and zoning. He also counsels clients in commercial and residential transactional real estate matters.

Prior to Joining Brown Altman & DiLeo, LLP, Matthew represented commercial lenders in mortgage default litigation and appeared before New York Supreme Court’s on Long Island, Westchester and the five boroughs.
