His practice encompasses commercial real estate litigation, zoning and land use regulation, real estate development and environmental compliance.
Keith counsels an array of clients – from Fortune 500 companies, national retailers, and petroleum distributors to banks, telecommunications firms, renewable energy developers, industrial warehouse owners and local small businesses. His legal acumen and strategic insight have made him a trusted advisor in high-stakes projects and transactions.
He has led several high-profile developments, including securing entitlements for Long Island’s first Wegmans supermarket, overseeing the redevelopment of the former Newsday facility for the East Coast’s largest industrial warehouse owner and obtaining entitlements for critical energy infrastructure projects—such as deploying fuel cells across all Stop & Shop Supermarkets, a 4 MW fuel cell facility and the first battery storage project in the Town of Southampton.
Keith has also represented clients in multimillion-dollar litigation and negotiated major commercial transactions, including EPC contracts and credit facilities.
A thought leader in land use and sustainability, Keith is the founder and Co-Chair of the Touro Law Center Institute of Land Use & Sustainable Development. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the Suffolk County Bar Association and is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut and in multiple federal courts.
